Bula Potato Farms Inc is a Certified Seed Potato Farm which has been a family owned operation since the 1920's. The original farm consisted of 40 acres of Antigo Silt Loam in Antigo,Wisconsin. In 1966 the operation expanded to include sandy ground 35 miles north of Antigo in isolated Northcentral Wisconsin. This provides an ideal location to produce certified and foundation seed of the highest quality. Northcentral Wisconsin provides a cool climate producing a more vigorous seed. Major varieties grown are Russet Burbanks, Norkotahs, Goldrush and Rangers.Whites are Superiors, Atlantics and Snowdens. Dark Red Norlands and Yukon Gold are also grown.
The President of the company is Dennis Bula. He officially joined the farm with his father, George, in 1972. Many changes have occurred since then. Bula Potato Farms Inc is a member of the Wisconsin Potato and Vegetable Growers Association. Dennis is a past president of the Wisconsin Seed Improvement Association which is part of the WPVGA. He always has his eyes open for promising new varieties and is willing to try something new.

Vice President is Adam Bula, Dennis' son. After graduating high school in 1995 Adam went to the University of Madison for their Agricultural Short Course for two years. He has "always" been a part of the operation but "officially" became Vice President in 1999.

Secretary/Treasurer of the Corporation is Dennis' wife Brenda. Besides taking care of the office, in September during harvesting she works along side Dennis in the warehouse. Currently she is a Board member of the Wisconsin Potato Auxiliary and has served as Treasurer of the Board for 3 years. She is also the Coordinator for the Potato Booth at the Wisconsin State Fair where they sell baked potatoes for 11 days. In 2000 they sold over 56,000 potatoes.
